Written, directed and produced by Alireza Kazemipour, the short film will compete at the International contest section of the 5th edition of the Canadian fest.
The 14-minute film tells the story of a girl who has taken an inappropriate path in her life and gets visitors at home.
But suddenly things start to change for her when a woman walks into her life.
‘The Blue Bed’ has been screened at a number of global events and won some awards, including the Best Directing award at the 10th Vancouver Short Film Festival in Canada.
The film has also received three nominations at the 2020 Leo Awards in Canada, including Best Screenwriting Short Drama, Best Direction Short Drama, and Best Short Drama.
The DCFF is an event based in Vancouver, Canada. It aims to promote exceptional emerging works as well as the established ones.
This year’s edition of the event is slated for November 15-30.
